Mold Inspection and Testing Services

AAB will perform a thorough mold inspection to observe and document the general property conditions corresponding to mold affected materials and/or the potential for mold damage within the structure. Area typically inspected include, floor, walls, ceilings, HVAC systems, janitorial closets, restrooms and equipment rooms. Moisture content readings are collected from the building materials throughout the structure. The structure will also be scanned with an infrared camera. If a mold issue is observed and the client wishes to proceed with remediation, AAB will provide a Mold Remediation Protocol for the project at no extra charge to the client.

Residential Inspections cost: $550.00 flat rate (average house)
Commercial Inspection: $150/hour

AAB’s standard sampling process includes – collection of particle traps within and outside the area of concern with at least one air sample collected outside the structure (to determine the naturally occurring fungi count). The samples are then sent to a Texas licensed laboratory for analysis. Turn around time of analysis is 24 hours (rush charges apply) to 48 hours (standard turn around).

Sample Costs $85 per sample

Mold Clearance Testing and Inspection Services

Perform final inspection service within mold remediation work areas; collect moisture content readings from the remaining building materials and the appropriate amount of surface/air samples within and outside the work area. After clearance has been achieved, AAB will provide a clearance report for the project.

Residential Inspections cost: $550.00 flat rate (average 3,000 sq/ft house)
Commercial Inspection: $150/hour
